Hello, everyone!
We are English club!
普段は、月曜に１時間ぐらい活動しています。 活動内容は、タブレットを使って簡単な英語で一言日記（Mikasa Diary）を書いたり、テスト前に予想問題を考えてクラスルームに掲示したりしています。 また、夏休みに東大寺で海外の人にインタビューをしたり、そのときにあげるお土産を作ったりしています。他の活動や、詳しい内容はをどんどん更新していくので、見てください。
Day 2 of English Day at Mikasa JHS!
8月20日、久しぶりの英語部の活動を行いました。今日は、再びAEE(奈良市英語教育アドバイザー)のヴィカンダ先生をお招きし、English Cooking Lesson を行っていただきました！
本日のメニューは「パッタイ(タイの焼きそば)」と「ルンピア(春巻き)」です。タイ人のご両親がいらっしゃるヴィカンダ先生のルーツとなるメニューを教えていただきました。特にパッタイは、ヴィカンダ先生がタイでレシピを教えてもらったものらしいです。
部員のほとんどが、タイ料理を食べることも、魚醤の匂いをかぐことも、初めてでした。魚醤の匂いをそのままかいだときには「うわっ！」と驚いた様子だった人も、できあがった料理を食べるとその味がやみつきになった人が多かったです。魚醤を多めに入れた焼きそばをおかわりする人もたくさんいました。
クッキング前に教えてもらった料理に関する英単語を、使いながら覚えることもできたかな？

玉ねぎを切るとき、涙が止まらなくて大変でした。人生で初めて揚げ物をして、楽しかったです。どれも美味しくてたくさん食べてしまいました。

7月25日(東大寺)、26日(JR奈良駅)で、恒例の外国人観光客の方々へのインタビュー活動を行いました。暑い中でしたが、昨年よりも積極的に声をかけることができた２・３年生、初めての体験にも関わらず、断られてもめげずに声をかけることができた１年生の全員が頑張っていました。インタビューのお礼として、つまみ細工のキーホルダーをお渡ししたところ、とても喜んでくださり、すぐにカバンにつけてくださった方もいらっしゃいました。
今年は初めてJR奈良駅でのインタビュー活動を行いました。観光客だけでなく、ビジネス目的に来ている人がいることや、場所によって出会う人々の出身国の種類に違いがあることなどが分かりました。観光案内所の英語ガイドさんからお褒めの言葉もいただきました。
English Day at Mikasa JHS!
奈良市教育委員会より、AEE(英語教育アドバイザー)のヴィカンダ先生をお招きして、English Dayを行いました。事前に準備していた英語での自己紹介から始まり、グループに分かれての自己紹介ゲームや単語ゲーム、英会話、最後には25日、26日に行うインタビュー活動の練習を行いました。聞くのも話すのも英語という英語漬けの２時間で、少し疲れましたが、それ以上に楽しむことができました。これでインタビュー活動もばっちりなはず！ヴィカンダ先生ありがとうございました！
